Your bridge between a doctor and everyday life.
Health coaching
Is health coaching for you?
- Has your doctor been telling you that you need to work on your stress, eat less sugar, do more exercise, but you have no idea where to start?
- Has your doctor given you a food plan that feels overwhelming?
- Do you want to prioritise your health but can’t seem to fit any health-promoting activities into your schedule?
Then maybe health coaching is for you. A health coach is a bridge between a doctor and everyday life.
Practical details:
- Coaching sessions take place online, one-on-one, last around 50 minutes and normally cover a longer period of time, e.g. over 3 months on a bi-weekly basis
- I am available in between sessions via instant messaging or email for any questions, motivation, or support
- I am in constant contact with your health practitioner to ensure alignment with your treatment plan
Hello
I’m Annie
I am originally from Cyprus and live in Berlin, Germany with my husband and daughter. I became a health coach after my own health struggles doctors couldn’t really help me with. In the end, it was through working on my lifestyle that I felt well again. I know first-hand just how powerful lifestyle changes can be and have made it my vocation to share this with you.
Health coaching is the use of skillful conversation, clinical interventions and strategies to help you engage in health behavior change. I use the science of coaching in order to help you integrate and sustain long-term health changes (in any lifestyle area-nutrition, exercise, relationships, stress, sleep, etc.).
Tired of not feeling well?
Experience the power of the ordinary things you do every day
Sleep & Relaxation
Do you have trouble falling asleep? Or do you wake up feeling groggy? Or maybe your child is waking you up several times during the night so you don’t feel like you’re getting any restful sleep? Together we can analyse what is preventing you from having the kind of sleep you need to wake up full of energy.
Nutrition
Discover the power of real foods and find out what foods work best for you and your body. With easy, quick and tasty recipes, stop yo-yo dieting and keep that weight off for good. Let’s work together to crack emotional eating and experience food as medicine.
Movement & Exercise
Do you have a gym subscription but never go there? Or do you regularly go, but hate it? Perhaps there are better ways to integrate movement in your daily life, in a way that is pleasurable and sustainable. We can find them together.
Stress
Do you eat more when you’re stressed (and then stress about it?) Does your job or family life, or juggling the two drive you nuts sometimes? Through mind-body techniques, you can learn to manage stress. We can also work on viewing stress as a positive, helpful state.
Connection
Which relationships would you qualify as supporting? Have you kept and are you sustaining your network of friends after becoming a parent? A strong support network can help maintain your health and vice-versa. We will look at how to find or re-discover connections that fill your cup rather than deplete it.
Positive psychology
Positive emotions, use of character strengths, finding meaning and purpose while adjusting to your new role or parenthood. Lean how to use positive psychology principles to experience well-being from the inside out.

Is mum martyrdom expected?
"OH MY GOD, YOU DONT LOOK LIKE A MUM AT ALL!" , said a friend who I hadn't seen in a very long time. She meant it as a compliment of course. But was it one? So what are mums supposed to look like exactly? Exhausted? Stressed out? Coping, but only just? Well no, I...

Body image after pregnancy
"You're pregnant with the second one!"(I'm not!) said a beaming former neighbor the other day. I was wearing the top in this photo. "I'm not", I said, smiling back. She meant well. It's a large cut T-shirt. However, this very innocent comment was enough to spark...
